Professional Search Performed:
Members of Texas Search and Rescue provided a search for Brandon.
TexSAR’s team included officers with Texas Division of Emergency Management, Cen-Tex Search and Rescue and the Lewisville Police Department. They also brought in two game wardens with Texas Parks and Wildlife. The search was extended to the northeast following one HR dog showing slight interest. However even with the extension, the search revealed no sign of Brandon Lawson - no remains, no clothing, no wallet, no cell phone, and no keys.

  3. Could I ask a couple of questions please? On the map of the search area, what does LKP vehicle and ICP with the arrow mean? Also, concerning the photo that says place where Brandon may have started....into the fields, I am unable to find that on Google maps. Could you pinpoint where that is please? Thanks

  5. Can I ask a couple of questions please? What does LKP and ICP with the arrow mean? Also, I cannot locate the photo on Google maps titled "location of approx area where Brandon may have started to run into the fields." Can you pinpoint it. Lastly, How much time elapsed between Brandon's 911 call and Officer Neal getting to his truck? Thanks

    1. 17 minutes elapsed between Brandon's 9-1-1 call and the time Kyle, Audrey and Deputy Neal arrived at the truck. 9-1-1 call made by Brandon at 12:53 AM. Officer Neal arrived at 1:10 AM, unless he was also the deputy who turned on the flashers, locked the truck, arranged for a tow in the morning and then drove up and down the roadway looking for anyone walking. If that was Neal, then he arrived earlier than Kyle and Audrey. I guess it's possible that he was the same one and as he was searching for a driver, he saw Kyle and Audrey at the truck. It's difficult to know for sure, since details about the incident are not all located on one page. The "Circumstances" section contains most of the info and the images of the flyers contain additional info. Brandon called Kyle at 12:38 AM. Therefore, it took 32 minutes for Kyle and Audrey to pick up the gas can from Ladessa's porch and arrive at Brandon's truck. I didn't see any info on where Kyle was when he got the call from Brandon.

  7. Anyone out there wanna throw thoughts back and forth regarding this case, let me know. I'm going to post soon some thoughts of mine. I plan a trip to Bronte and San Angelo this summer possibly to further do research. The media needs to get more involved in this case. I want to try to stimulate media focus, somehow. I'm thinking.... as I hold down a family, job, and house. TBC...

  10. Good effort reaching out to them! good to hear folks are trying to help. Ive also reached out to a podcast host to feature the case. He declined as it was recently covered by true crime garage at that time. I plan to ask him again if he'll consider it. Ive been posting a lot of comments in the Bronte tx topix forum, im trying to get folks to talk. I belive BL ran into something sinister that night, maybe even the mexican mob. I rule out alcohol and or narcotics being a factor in the 911 call. Maybe both sides means there were people on both sides of the road and he himself is headed towards the direction of Abilene. There is def someONE with BL that he is "ok" with as you can here someone talking near him more than once. He might of been attempting to help someone.

  11. "yes, I'm in the middle of a field a staper just pushed some guys over" What it means here I dunno. However I am pretty damn certain BL does say staper and does say pushed not pulled. With the 5-0 not releasing the 911 audio recording for like 4 months is odd...very very odd. I am willing to entertain the possibility that BL did say state trooper and that was edited. However if BL said pulled some guys over that would support the state trooper theory but he clearly says pushed some guys over. Pushed makes it even more confusing. I'm not pointing towards the police but we must be leary even of the police. Going back to my previous mob comment, maybe BL stumbled upon some dirty staties doing some dirt with the mob? Another commenter did say though if BL said state trooper in the beginning then why at the end of the call he states he needs the cops. If he refers to authorities as cops then he would of said a cop just pushed some guys over... Good point but if he was witnessing a dirty statey he might of not wanted other staties, he might of wanted a local towns cop from Bronte. Also if BL did call Audrey saying hes 10 min up the road the search should be very expanded. Lets get boots on the ground.

  13. If Brandon walked north to Bronte for gas, why was the search conducted south of where his vehicle was found?

This seems like an extremely obvious question.

    1. I completely agree, the search area seems to be more focused to the south/centre of the last known position and doesn't cover much of the north. The logical direction of travel would be north towards Bronte, so have there been further searches of this area? As far as I understand it was a road that Brandon knew well and frequently travelled, so he would have been well aware that this was the closest town. I also understand the last known cell ping also positions Brandon further north towards the Colorado river, however I don't think is 100% confirmed and is still up for debate. It is possible (just a theory) that as Brandon's truck was running out of gas he would have slowed down considerably as the engine started to splutter. This could have caused a near miss with another vehicle coming at speed from behind or elsewhere and led to some sort of altercation that involved Brandon being chased from the truck and into the field/woods, possibly even a gun was brandished explaining the level of panic Brandon has. It would explain the haphazard way in which the truck was parked. Were there any skid marks or signs of a near miss anywhere around the area that the truck was abandoned? Is it also possible that he mistook (if he was viewing from far away in the fields) the police and his brother pulling up at his truck and thought it was the same guys as before and they were out to get him. I admit this seems unlikely as the police car would likely have his flashing lights on, although Brandon could have been long gone from the area of his truck by the time the police were anywhere near and not seen either. I can imagine running through the fields and woods alone in the middle of nowhere at night gives you that panicked feeling that someone is following you, even though the other person could have already left. Brandon could have continued moving north through the fields in the dark and either fallen down, run in to something or just scraped himself on undergrowth, hence the I'm bleeding statement the he later made in the call with his brother. This would also tie together his comment about being 10 minutes up the road and place him (as I understand from the reports) in the same area as the last cell ping. It is then possible that exhausted, and running through the darkness Brandon fell in to the Colorado river and unfortunately drowned? As I say it's just a thought and would explain possibly why nothing has been found and also tie together all of the available info. It would also explain most of the statements in the 911 call and the call to his brother. I fully appreciate that this far from explains everything, and this is just one possibility/theory. I truly hope that the case is solved so that Brandon's family can finally have some closure. Would be good to hear some other theories/ideas from you guys.

  14. This haunts me. I feel like BL came upon something he wasn’t supposed to see-that road is so isolated, and at night I would imagine it’s pitch black dark-the perfect place for illegal activity. “Staper” seems likely to be State Trooper, but edited by LE or someone wanting to cover up what happened. I’m sick of reading that he “must” have been under the influence, I don’t get that impression AT ALL-and I don’t believe he’d willingly leave Ladessa and his children. Something evil happened on that dark road, but what’s done in the dark eventually comes to the light. I hope his family gets answers, at the very least can bring him home.

  15. This case haunts me as well. I agree, something evil happened out there. I've listened to that 911 call too many times to count- the slowed down versions, the ones with the 911 operator spliced out, etc. I hear other people on the call so he wasn't alone out there. I think in this moment, from fear, injury, or just stammering, he may have mispoke, and combined the words "state" and "trooper" to make "staper" or "stooper." I do this sometimes when I'm talking very fast. I believe someone is covering something up. The call does seem edited. I just hope something changes, that truth comes out. His family, and his children especially, deserve some answers. This case is never too far from my mind.
